
The total land area of the province is 540,230 hectares or 5,402.3 square kilometers. Bayawan City has the largest land area of 637.95 square kilometers followed by Tanjay City with an area of 539.30 square kilometers. Sta. Catalina follows closely with 523.10 square kilometers.
The area along the province’s coastline is mostly made of plains and valleys. Towards the interior, volcanic peaks, hills and occasional plateaus are found.
